This three-day safari journey will take you through Lake Manyara, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park. Perfect for travelers with limited time, this itinerary delivers a short yet incredibly rewarding Tanzanian wildlife experience. You’ll witness the thrill of an authentic African safari and enjoy exceptional photographic opportunities in three of Tanzania’s most remarkable national parks.

DAY 1: TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After being collected from your hotel, you’ll set off for Tarangire National Park. This beautiful reserve is characterized by its majestic baobab trees, sweeping savannah, and seasonal wetlands. Tarangire is renowned as one of the top destinations to observe elephants up close. The park also supports large herds of buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest, often trailed by predators such as lions. While leopards can occasionally be seen, cheetahs are a rarer sight. From the open roof of your safari vehicle, you’ll enjoy unobstructed views of the landscape and wildlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. Later in the afternoon, you’ll depart for your lodge, where you’ll have dinner and spend the night.

DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER
Today, you’ll travel to the Ngorongoro Crater and descend over 600 meters to explore the crater floor on a full-day game drive. The permanent water sources and rich grazing land attract an extraordinary array of wildlife. You’ll encounter herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippos, and the impressive African elephant. The crater is also renowned for its high concentration of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard—sometimes visible only to the trained eye. In the evening, you’ll ascend from the crater and return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 3: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you’ll head to Lake Manyara National Park. This lush park is dominated by the alkaline lake, which attracts vast flocks of water birds. Particularly striking are the pink flamingos, along with cormorants, pelicans, storks, and many other species—more than 400 in total. Lake Manyara is also famous for its unique tree-climbing lions, often found lounging in the central open plains. During your game drive, you’ll likely spot elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, and a variety of other wildlife. In the afternoon, you’ll exit the park, marking the end of your safari adventure.
