Day 1: Arrival & Stone Town Discovery
Upon landing at Zanzibar International Airport, you’ll be greeted and escorted to your hotel located in the heart of Stone Town. After checking in and taking some time to refresh, set out on a guided walking tour to uncover the island’s storied past. Wander through Stone Town’s narrow alleys and visit historical sites including the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and the Sultan’s Palace. Day 2: Spice Plantation & Maruhubi Palace Ruins
Begin your morning at a local spice farm, where you’ll immerse yourself in the fragrances and flavors of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other spices that earned Zanzibar its nickname, “The Spice Island.” Interact with farmers and hear stories about the historic spice trade. Day 3: Prison Island & Mangapwani Slave Caves
